Bariatric Partners works in partnership with leading bariatric surgeons throughout the United States to develop, own and operate specialty outpatient surgery centers focused on the surgical and post-operative needs of obese patients. Under our Journey Lite brand, we are creating comprehensive, multi-disciplinary bariatric programs all across the country that focus on providing surgical treatment of obesity through the laparoscopic adjustable gastric band and that provide on-going, long-term after care and support of our patients.

By creating surgery centers devoted to individuals suffering from obesity, Bariatric Partners serves its patients better and gives its partner physicians more control of important operational processes designed to improve patient care.

We seek to work with bariatric surgeons who have demonstrated a commitment to bariatrics and who are experienced with laparoscopic bariatric procedures. Our belief, supported by existing data, is that more experienced surgeons have lower complication rates and better outcomes than less experienced surgeons. We endeavor to bring the benefit of greater experience to obese patients through our partner physicians.

Bariatric Partners structures all of our partnerships to maximize the productivity, efficiency and flexibility of our physician partners. Partnership structures are based on the specific desires of each physician partner, so each structure is unique to a particular facility. Physicians may also have the flexibility to change their capital contributions over time, so be sure to inquire about this when speaking with us.

Our physician partners control the delivery of all patient seminars and clinical services performed at our Journey Lite facilities. Bariatric Partners manages the facility and all business, marketing, and operational functions. Bariatric Partners and its physician partners share in any profits of the operating entity proportionate to their respective capital contributions.

  Bariatric Partners, Inc. is able to leverage our management team’s extensive network of relationships to identify attractive facilities and negotiate their acquisition. Experienced architects and contractors are in place for turnkey development when necessary. 
• Marketing Programs
  Bariatric Partners' marketing team designs and directs extensive targeted media campaigns that are specifically tailored to each market. Our staff is experienced in all aspects of marketing, including branding, strategic planning and implementation, advertising, public relations, trade show & event management, broadcast production, and business development strategies. In addition, we have an extensive network within the bariatric community which allows us to keep our hand on the industry's pulse at all times. 
• Patient Programs
  In direct consultation with our physician partners, Bariatric Partners designs and manages comprehensive patient programs specifically tailored for each practice. Patients receive pre-operative education, nutritional counseling, psychological evaluation and on-going support (if needed). In addition, our after care program provides ongoing long-term care and follow up and includes live and online support group meetings. Our after care program is second to none and our patients enjoy greater success because of it.
• Equipment and Vendor Relationships
  Bariatric Partners has strong relationships with equipment vendors to obtain favorable pricing on major equipment. All equipment is state-of-the-art, allowing for best surgical outcomes.
• Regulatory Issues
  Our staff is experienced in meeting state licensure and accreditation requirements. Our centers are organized to be able to meet any evolving and applicable Center of Excellence standards.
